We are feeling proud of ourselves today and thanks to @sash_maternity_ for sharing!!! And so on the Ppe front I’m sad to say that’s a wrap!!! This lovely post comes from East Surrey Hospital Who we’re so grateful To receive the visors. Luckily, we had used all our materials and the funds you had so kindly donated to our visor cause, having made approx 1600 visors and delivered to three hospitals 🏥 I lost count of the carehomes but it was a lot spanning London,Kent,Sussex and surrey , Gp’s surgeries and Pharmacies too...when in its wisdom the government called time at the end of last week! After the peak of this awful virus (and with the government in full knowledge that handmade protective equipment was being used) decided that this was no longer allowed and have said that we can only carry on if we apply for a CE mark (to the time of £3000). We normally make props for films... so visor making wasn’t ever going to be a long term project so the Kitemark application won’t be happening... However I just wanted to to say a huge thank you to all of you that supported our cause. In practical help in making and in the funding. I feel sure that we must have made a difference and stopped some people from becoming sick?
